VFE The Triplet
The VFE Triplet combines three simple classic effects that sound great together -- a compressor, analog octave up, and distortion.
The compressor is first in the circuit, followed by the analog octave up, and finally the distortion circuit.
To top it off, the octave & distortion can ben independently blended in to create unique, signature tones. Get three classic effects for the price (and size) of one!
- - Gain: Controls the output of the compressor circuit into the rest of the circuit.
- - Filter: Controls the treble cut of the distortion circuit. This control does not affect the compressor or octave circuits.
- - LEVEL: Controls the volume output of The Triplet.
- - COMP: Sets the threshold of the FET compressor. Only part of the sweep is usable, due to the variable nature of using an FET as a variable resistor.
- - OCTAVE: Blends in the octave up.
- - DIST: Blends in the distortion. This mix circuit blends with the previous octave mix section.
